Consider Living Elsewhere!

The first major issue I have is getting in/out of the parking garage: There is almost no point at which you can turn right out of the parking garage due to construction and that end of the road being blocked off. Many mornings, I pull out of the garage only to find that I cannot go left either b/c the garbage trucks have the other end of the road blocked off! One construction worker told me to turn right anyway (through a construction zone) and drive on the sidewalk - hope you don't care about your car b/c you'd have to scrape the bottom of it to hop the curb just to get out of the parking garage.
Getting into the parking garage is fun, too! Most of the time, people park all along the street, despite the "NO PARKING" signs. The road is only about 1 1/2 car widths wide - so if someone is illegally parked (which is most of the time) only one car can come up or down the road at a time. You have to weave your way through all the illegally parked cars (and hope no one is coming in the opposite direction) just to get into the garage! If someone is coming in the opposite direction, you have to back all the way back down the road (or they do) so one of you has room to get where you're going.
There is constant noise in the courtyard area at all hours of the night, no matter what day of the week. I realize many young recent graduates live here - but they have no respect for their neighbors. Loud music blaring on weeknights until the wee morning hours - people screaming and yelling in the courtyard at all hours on all nights of the week. Not to mention, you are packed in here like sardines. I can hear every step the person above me takes.
Due to the construction I spoke of earlier, the entire South College building (the one I live in) is COVERED in construction dust. I can see my footstep imprints in the dust as I walk down the hall. And there is CONSTANT drilling and banging from 9 am until dusk, 6 days a week.
It is outrageous how much I pay in rent and still have to put up with this... Oh, and don't get me started on the mandatory $30/month for valet trash! I can walk 50 feet and put my own trash in the chute! For what it costs to live at Camden South End, it is not worth it.
