I would not recommend Camden Stonecrest to anyone with children. Everyone on this property seems to own a pet (in apartments no less) and no one appears to be cleaning up behind their animals. Parking is an absolute nightmare. If you do not arrive home by 8:00pm, you will not be able to park anywhere near your building. Don't bother asking Management if there is a problem with parking, just drive thru after 8:00pm. We've just been informed that children are not allowed to skateboard on the property. Well they can't play on the grass because of pet droppings, can't roller skate or skateboard. Let's hope they don't get too bored and start entering our apartments when we're not home just for kicks. Many new residents look a bit shady if you ask me. No one seems to work, so I question whether or not Management really is conducting the appropriate checks of their applicants. The garbage pick-up service is a rip off, because trash has to be out by 8:00pm or you empty it yourself. Finally there are bugs galore. I guess I should be happy my neighbor stopped beating his drums after 12:00am.
Welcome to Camden Stonecrest!

Your kids are what caused the problems (i.e. hitting cars, and not getting out of the way of traffic thru the neighborhood.) As far as bugs, try and clean your apartment. I have lived here for 3 years and only had the sight of one critter. Have a good day, you sound worthless.

I would love to see your kids just try and enter MY apartment if they get bored. Why dont you go get Section 8 housing. This is Ballantyne, not the hood. Try taking some parenting classes or spending more time with your kids....if you see some one not picking up dog crap, say something, idiot!!!!

If you're home waiting and watching for someone to enter your apartment, maybe you need to find a job instead of critiquing comments. Ballanytne is a nice community but I have lived in better, so I'm not impressed. Unlike you this is not a step up for me, this is temporary housing that I secured on the internet prior to relocating to the country (Charlotte). If you've read just a few of the responses you'll see I am not the only resident concerned about you and your filthy dog. A resident can contact the office, but without having the address of the pet owner there is nothing much they can do. By the way Section 8 housing is any and everywhere, including Ballantyne. Anyone willing to rent their property to a recipient of Section 8 is able to do so. And many people are accepting Section 8 because they cannot sell their homes, not to mention the money from the Government is guaranteed to be paid on a monthly basis. You may want to contact the office to see if they'll accept your voucher. Smart ASS!
