Not that on campus living is bad, mind you, but this place is HORRIBLE. You'd be better off living on campus (trust me, I've lived there before for 2 years).

Parking - They have enough spots, but even a compact car would have trouble fitting in these spaces. Don't be surprised when you have door dings and scratches on your car. I know 2 people whose cars were hit in the parking lot because the spaces are so tight...

Noise - Campus Edge will do nothing about the noise. I have some idiots that live next door who think its fun to blast loud music with bass until 3AM. Several times I've had security and police over there to get them to turn it down (since they won't answer the door when I knock on it), to no avail. Be prepared to listen to someone else's music 24/7

Grounds - I think most of our money goes to the grounds crew. Grass and trees look great...except for the occasional beer bottle and trash bag...

Safety - I can't say much about this...haven't met anyone that's been robbed, and haven't felt UNsafe here.

Apartment itself - Decent quality I suppose...although my carpet does have a lot of ridges in it where it has risen up from the floor. I get a lot of bugs too...climing up through the drain pipes in my sink and tub. Crickets, ants, spiders, beetles....you name it, we've got 'em

Maintenance - The maintenance crew is pretty good. I've had several things go wrong while I've been here, and they've fixed all but one, and done so in a timely manner. The only one they didn't fix was the washing machine, and I don't blame them for it...it's a piece of junk (spin cycle doesn't work, leaks water).

Office Staff - The ineptitude of the office staff is unbelievable. Once you sign your lease, they really couldn't care less about you. I have personally dealt with all the individuals who work there, and the property manager and her assistant are the worst. Several times I've tried to get them to help me out with problems I'm having here, and they do nothing. Even if your roommates are doing things that would constitute the termination of their lease, the managers won't do anything about it. They truely are the most worthless people in the world.


In closing, I'll just say that this place is so bad, that I'm going to attempt to sublease it and get the heck out of dodge. This place is nothing more than one big alcoholic/drug addict colony (who just so happen to be "students").
