I'm sorry, but I've just got to put my 2 cents in. I came acroos the other reviews after googling to find the number for the the management office and felt like I needed to give everyone a reality check.

#1 - if you are going to complain about the lack of security, don't b-tch about the gates being closed at night and the guards asking you questions!

#2 Parking! yea it's horrible durring fall & spring semesters, so is parking on campus. Have you ever had your car dinged at the mall durring x-mas season. My older brother lives at a really nice 3 bedroom apartment complex in South Charlotte. He was entitled to one parking space and had to pay for a second permit (it wasn't even a covered parking space).

#3 Having your car broke into - Did you have a security system for your car' I've walked to class several times and seen multiple cars @ Campus Edge and on-campus that were obviously hit the night before because the shattered glass was still on the assphalt. I had 3 roommates whose expensive, after-market stereo systems were stolen out of their cars. I love the guys, but I just don't understand why they felt it was ok to spend $3k on a stereo system but didn't opt to spend $300 on a security system(especially after it happened to the first roommate).

#4 Security Deposit Refunds - Dude, did you honestly expect that they were going to keep your living room carpet when you had a weekly party that consisted of keg stands & jello shooters' Maybe if you stopped using your apartment as the frat house and inviting the entire Greek society over, everybody would have a place to park! But dude, the parties were awesome. I'm sure the $1 you charged everybody at the door more than covered the cost of replacing your carpet.

#5 Grounds - Yea, the grounds crew works their tale off considering the pig-stye we make of this place every weekend.

#6 Maintenance - Can't complain much other than the fact the guys don't have the guts enough to tell my new female roommate that her toilet will continue clogging up until she stops flushing her tampons. I can't blame the maintenance guys, she's hot!

#7 Managemnt - OK, I admit I've had my run-ins with those characters. But, I've found out that if I don't agree with something or understand their actions (or lack of) they usually have a valid reason. Example: They were trying to stick me with a roommate from India. God love him, but I can't stand to smell the food! I explained this to them and they acted like they didn't care. After I pushed them for a while, one the leasing agents pulled me aside and explained that it was my responsibility to discuss my concerns with this guy because they weren't allowed to discuss issues of race when placing roommates together. I'm not exactly sure what food had to do with race, but ever since that point when a disagreement has occured I've asked "why" and they've been able to give me sensible answers that seem to be honest. However, I would urge some of the staff to take a course in customer service.

#8 Noise level - for $400/month did you honestly think you were going to get a sound proof apartment' Besides, we're in college. Often times I find my self on a Thursday night, half-way through a bottle of SoCo, and realize that I have my stereo full blast playing LP while my TV is turned on to the Late Show (not muted) and that's just in my room! I'm sorry if I've interrupted your night of studying, but just knock on the door an tell me to turn it the f-ck down. I won't bite and I'll still talk to you in the breezeway.

Now that I've finished my rant - I hope that you guys can THINK about what you are saying before you post an ad. For anybody out there reviewing these comments and debating on moving here, THINK about what some of these idiots are saying and you'll realize that it's not bad considering that you're in college and not your parent's quiet sub-division. Besides, the new (re-modeled) clubhouse is awesome!
