Okay, so the apartments have four reasonably spacious bedrooms, four bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and nice living space. The included utilities were nice too. I always felt safe at Campus Edge. My car was never broken into, because I do not have anything valuable enough in there to steal, and I was never raped, robbed, mugged or held at gunpoint, nor did I know of anyone who experienced this.
With this said, I would NEVER live here. It got so bad, that I began ccounting down the days until graduation so I could move away from this dump. People have parties all the time, and it is incredibly loud EVERY night. If you have to get up at 5am for an internship every morning, that situation does not really work out. I would be willing to say that it is much more quiet and peaceful to live on campus. The people who live here are disgusting. They dump their trash everywhere, and leave their trash outside their doors for days. We had neighbors who dumped this huge barrel full of beer, piss, chew, and God knows what else off their balcony after their nightly parties. They did this so often that they killed the grass below them.
The management is full of mentally challenged idiots. They do not know anything, so do not bother asking them a question. One time they threatened to evict me, after I PAID my rent. They lost my check, so they accused me of not paying at all! When I asked them about it, they were not helpful. By the way, they will charge you extra rent the last month that you are there. If you are there for HALF the month, don't expect to pay 200, expect to pay more like 230. Once you move out, do not expect your security deposit refund for at least another three months. With all this said, the thing that really pushed me over the edge was when I was sent a package that they did not inform me about. My fiance's mother sent me flowers after we got engaged. They were supposed to be a suprise, so no one told me they were coming, but they shouldn't have to tell me because Campus Edge is supposed to notify me when I have a package. Two weeks after I am supposed to get them, I go to the office and tell them that they have a package I never received. They look all over the place and could not find it anywhere. The girl finally finds it shoved into this random utility closet. THANK YOU CAMPUS EDGE FOR THE DEAD FLOWERS! If you want dead flowers, a noise level so loud that you never get the correct amount of sleep, and ------ management, then be my guest, and live at Campus Edge.
