I know writing on here won't really make a difference...if only I could actually report this place to the cops or the news...or maybe the city of Charlotte...so that it could be torn down.

I don't know how this place is still up and running.

It is probably one of the WORST places to live if you are a student.

Unless of course you are a student who doesn't care about anything, likes dirty and loud places, and has absolutely no self respect and doesn't mind living somewhere that is short of a 24/7 MTV Spring Break scene...then go ahead this place is for you.

But if you are a student who was merely looking for an apartment that is close to campus so you can walk to class without paying for a parking pass...then look elsewhere!

I have lived here for 6 months and have finally moved to another apartment complex.

Those 6 months were probably the worst months of my life.

As a full time student with an internship...it was impossible to do anything.

The environment is not conducive to that type of lifestyle.

If you have to wake up early or go to bed early..forget about ever sleeping.

The only time you can sleep is probably the middle of the day between 2-4 when the people who have partied all night are sleeping because they don't do anything with their lives.

If you live by the pool...

I feel sorry for you...

when it gets warm outside they start blaring music out the speakers starting at noon till....

ALL NIGHT! And its not light music...

it is so loud that I couldn't even hear my own TV on its highest volume setting.

Not to mention that there were so many nights that management forgot to turn off the music...so I had absolutely no sleep and had to drag myself to work sleep deprived.

The other glorious aspect of "The Edge" is that your car will be towed at least once a week.

Nothing is like walking down to your car at 7:30am to not find it bc its been towed.

And they not only tow it when you DON'T have a sticker...but they tow it when you DO have a sticker because they didn't see it.

I had my car towed four times...the last time they finally realized that I had a sticker and brought it back to the apartments but put it back in a completely different parking space.

Yea I still had to pay for each time.

And all of the other comments here are completely true...

there are beer cans everywhere, the residents dump trash all over the place, they pee in every corner and there is always some sort of vomit on the sidewalks from the parties the night before.

The point is...if you want to fail in life and have only 2 hours a day of quiet time, with horrible management, crappy apartments, beer, piss, and vomit all over the place then this place is PERFECT...otherwise it is the WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN CHARLOTTE!!!!!
