This Apartment Is HORRIBLE!!!

I have lived at Campus Edge since August 2007. This has been a horrible and scary experience for me. First, I moved into this apartment because it is in walking distance of UNC Charlotte's campus and it is a gated community. The gated community turned out to be false advertising because the gate did not work August through January. After January the gate was only closed at night. This is a HUGE issue considering there has been about eight robberies in Campus Edge since August. The management here does not help you in any way. They just give you the usual comment "We are doing everything we can." That is a load of crap! Yesterday there was a robbery next door to me and that night they still did not have the gate closed! Are they waiting on someone to seriously get hurt? Besides the security issue, this place is disgusting. The carpet looks like it has not been replaced in 10 years, the rooms are small, the grounds are gross outside, trash everywhere, horrible internet, and tiny parking spaces. They are out to get your money and thats it! The management here is a bunch of college kids wanting free rent. They listen to you gripe and complain but no action will be taken.
