this place is a nightmare

i'm not kidding i wanted to stay here because it is walking distance from campus but it has been nothing but awful since i moved in. first off the apartment was in awful condition the carpet was DISGUSTING and they pitched a fit when we demanded it be replaced as it should have been before we even moved in. The maintenance aren't even qualified to fix anything most of them are just residents who work as maintenance to get free rent. we had a flood in one room, we went without hot water for 8 DAYS! and all they did was give us a empty room 2 buildings over to shower in, once water was shooting into our living room from the laundry area at 2 am we called emergency maintence they said it was too late for them to do anything about it!! all this not to mention the numerous break-ins our apartement being one of them and gunpoint hold ups they have had. All the front office cares about it fining you for everything they can and taking all your money. This place is horrific

Office staff did not replace your carpet because you had 2 illegal pets in the apartment and we took care of you in concern of the hot water. The robbery took place October 2007.

This place is so disgusting! I moved in in August 1, 2008 and everyday after that I wish I lived somewhere else! It's dirty, unsafe, and a rip-off of my hard earn money! Oh! Not to mention the half a** staff. Work orders put in 3 weeks ago and STILL have not been attended to. They just did room checks Monday.....but the maintenace man said they are suppose to do them every two month? This was the first time a room inspection has EVER been done since I lived here. They kill me with these policies! They charge you an arm and a leg for ANY and EVERYTHING! The manager is RUDE the Employess are RUDE! They don't do anything but give you the run around and tell lies to get you out their face! If you have a guest that stays more than 1 day you have to report it to the main office? Are you serious? We are all adults why must we check in with the office about friends staying over? I could see if it was over a week, that's excessive! But SHEESH!. It's so much wrong with this complex I can't even begin to explain how much this PLACE SUCKS!!!!. 901 Place, Mallard Glen, Thornberry! U Villiage!...ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Oh I forgot to mention the sloppy security! So im guessing The Edge doesn't have enough for a 24 hr security guard because now the gate it wide open during the day for anybody and everybody to slide through! And the security guard at night is 70!! Who can in protect? NO ONE! This place is the dumps! I wouldnt let a homeless persron stay here for FREE!! Please be smart and move somewhere else. Buying a parking pass every year is WAAAAY better than this crap hole called campus edge! And if you managers want to Reply with some bull! DONT BOTHER! 95% of the reviews up here have been bad reviews! The people hace spoken! And if it wasn't for the fact that the staff gets free rent then you would complain too!
