I am so glad that I looked at this site, because I was going there this week to rent a home. I first looked there during the spring of 2005, then went back two days after the new owners purchased it. Since 2000 I have been renting an apartment about 4 miles from Carmel on Providence, but I wanted to wait until the end of 2005 to make up my mind about renting or buying. Since I am 55 I have decided to rent the rest of my life and would like something more like a home. Last year I looked at A LOT of places and decided that Carmel was what I was looking for in a home and it had a GREAT reputation, but as I stated above...I am glad I checked back with this site. Now, I know to stay away. I am sorry to see that with the new ownership things are going down hill fast. I guess my search is on again!
