Well this was my first experience living in an apartment, and i'll just run down the pro's and con's.

Pros:
- The Brand New Apartments are quite spacious and layed out well in my opinion
- Location is great and there is not too much traffic like there would be in SE Char.
10 mins from Uptown and 10 minutes from SC
- Nice pool
- Plentiful parking
- Thats about all

Cons:
- Stupid Gate at the front.. dont even get me started
- The people who built these apts need to learn how to use a level, because I swear every door closes immediately upon being opened. The refrigerator also seems like it is tilted. Everytime i put something in, i feel like it is going to slide to the front and fall on my foot next time i open it.
- Uneven cooling of apartment. I had a two bedroom apt, one room was always at least 5 degrees warmer in the summer.
- The toilets straight up suck. Be prepared to flush more than once if you do anything but take a pi**.
- No water pressure in the shower
- Depending on where you are located, the light from the parking lot can be very annoying when trying to sleep at night, although I do enjoy the parking lot being well let for obvious reasons.
- I have a bad feeling these apartments will go to trash soon. About one to two months after I moved in, so did the trash, and It gets annoying when obnoxious people like to make drug deals at 3 in the morning while letting their bass wake everyone up. This doesnt happen all the time, but enought for me to write it here.
- Shortly after we moved in, so did someone above us, and I could hear every footstep at night. It wasnt that they were being loud, I could just hear them pacing back and forth all the time.

Now, all of these negative things, while annoying at times, are relatively minor. I enjoyed living at the apartment and you can't beat the convinience to interstate 485/77 and hwy 49.
