Noise is a very very serious problem

The fact that the buildings are quite new is very nice - I loved the new appliances, carpet, bathtubs, etc. Visually, a very appealing apartment on the inside. While the overall appearance of the grounds is well-manicured, it definitely could have been better. I had an upstairs neighbor who thought it was appropriate to throw beer bottles from his balcony that would sit in the lawn for at least 4 days before they would be picked up by maintenance. From the time that I moved into Carrington Place in June of 2004 until I moved out in April of 2005, the quality of the residents had gone down significantly. When I moved in, it seemed as though most of my neighbors were young professionals and some young families. By the time I left though, Carrington Place had been overrun with trashy residents - seemingly overnight, the ghetto had been transported to the suburbs. As a single young woman living by myself, I went from feeling very comfortable when I first moved there to feeling quite uncomfortable by the time I moved out. Many of the residents are low class people with little or no respect for their neighbors. The absolute worst aspect of living at Carrington Place is the noise level. The buildings are cheaply constructed. Expect to hear EVERYTHING that is being said, done, watched, etc. in the apartments around you. Your light fixtures will shake, as will the contents of your kitchen cabinets when people move around above you. At least 3 nights a week I would be woken up by noise from the apartment upstairs. When I complained about excessive noise from the upstairs tenant - and I mean EXCESSIVE noise at all hours of the night - I was informed that the prior tenant of my apartment had complained 3 times about the upstairs neighbor and that I could complain all I'd like, but the leasing office was unable to do anything unless I called the cops and had an official complaint filed with them. Unacceptable!

divelatin, you obviously work there since you respond to a lot of these reviews. However, you don't seem to be doing anything about the issues that are continuously complained about by your residents. One guess who you actually are.
