noise is a serious problem..either that or I've got a 300 lb person living above me. I constantly here them walking around. I used to be able to hear their conversations with other people, or laughing & screaming very loud..I even once heard the other person on the other side of the phone! For some reason certain people around here act like they own this whole place and they can be as loud as they want, but you have to remember this is an apartment "community", get your own d*mn house if you want to scream at the top of your lungs. They played their music so loud, I could sing along. Woke me up a few times so I simply kept throwing things up at the ceiling till they finally turned it down. Complained a few times to management, they are supposed to fine for any noise complaints. There are a few kids that play out in the hallway leading to all the apartment doors in the afternoon/evenings. A few times I heard a basketball being slammed against the walls, my walls..that was quite annoying to say the least. They are always screaming. I know they are kids and just playing but do that in your own space, not in an area that is going to disrupt the peace of someone else's home. I always hear other people's "chimes" when they open their doors. The gates often don't work. I'll end up having to reverse back and try again. All this adds up to a lot of frustration. They obviously didn't consider "sound" an issue when building these things.
