I don't know what the fuss is all about. For me, it was a good place to live - inexpensive, quiet place with competent staff. I moved to a studio facing the lake during Jan or Feb of 2007. Everyone at the office was so friendly, the application process went smoothly and I was able to move in within a day. There were really minor problems with the studio but the maintenance took care of it at a lightning speed. I didn't stay in Charlotte very long - maybe two months altogether out of my six months lease - during my lease since I go around the whole country due to my job. However, it was a nice place to sit back and relax whenever I was able to go back. Of course, being a first floor unit facing the lake surronded by trees, there was a lot of insect intruders... maybe one or two every other day''' but exterminator service seemed to come aroung every month.
Overall.....
Pros: Value, Friendly and Competent Staff and Maintenece, Quiet, Good View, Convenient Location, Big Walk-in Closet, New Appliances, Lots of Storage, esp. loved the Built-in Vanity.
Cons: My studio did not have windows that could be opened. Insect Intruders now and then. Dirty Laundry Room with Broken Washers. Community on my side was not kept clean. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
