The actual apartment is not too bad. The worst part is the shower. The water stays hot for about 10 minutes and large chunks of the ceiling fall on you from above. I've been here for almost six months and can't wait to move. It is not in a good area. There are cops here almost every day for one reason or another. If you are female I would advise a safer area. There is one flimsy lock on the door that is not too reassuring. A couple of my friends have been robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot. If you feel you can handle it, rent is cheap! lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji

It will be a miracle if the ceiling situation or anything else is fixed over there. Start looking for somewhere else now! I reported them to the housing authority before moving out when my water heater busted and flooded the bedroom, bathroom and portions of the living room. They were too cheap and ghetto and lazy to do proper water extraction resulting in black mold growing in my apartment which they refused to deal with. Why that place is still standing and allowed to remain in business is beyond me. If the apartment does not cave in, the thugs in the parking long and around that are a constant fixture, will likely murder you if you aren't careful. Run fast! It is incredibly unsafe, and management is useless.

The complex is under new management now. Granted I never experienced problems in the 8 months that I have been here, apparently this group is going to do better. I've noticed changes and fixes have been fixed within the same day I make the call. You have to definitely have an appreciation for older style complexes in the city and excercise patience when requesting a fix for a building that has been standing a while. I've not experienced the crime in the complex yet and hope not to.
