My take on Cheswyck

I stopped by the leasing office at Cheswyck at Ballantyne three weeks ago to check on availability and prices. Here's my take:
Pluses:
. Nice location in Ballantyne.
. The apartment complex sits on high and low ground which is nice.
. The pool is nice.
. The grounds were well maintained.
. The 1-bedroom Ashton (A4) had a nice kitchen, okay bedroom, nice size closet, large utility W/D closet.
. They were offering $350.00 off the first month rent.
. Randon was professional and answered all my questions.
Minuses:
. The rent for the 790 Square Feet 1-bedroom Ashton (A4) was $745.00, which is high for a 1-bedroom apartment. I believe that anyone who pays more than $720.00 for the nicest 1-bedroom apartment in Charlotte is wasting his/her money.
. The living room is too thin. Only 11.5 feet wide.
. The separated computer area provides privacy but decreases the size of the living room.
. Although I left my name so they could inform me once a 1-bedroom becomes available, I still have not heard back from anyone at the leasing office. But then again, none of the apartments complexes do.
