Went with a friend who was looking for an apt to get some rental info. It was a Saturday and the door to the office was locked. The sign said they would be back in 10 minutes. We waited 30 minutes before 2 girls came back. They had gone out to lunch together! We thought the point of having 2 people is that someone would always be at the office. We went back today to see apts and the person there was with some customers, then told us that he was going out to show apartments and would be back in 10-15 minutes. It was 1hr and 15 minutes later when he came back! When we expressed our frustrations with waiting that long, he became defensive and raised his voice at us saying it was "typical" these days that tours took this long. Then why would you tell me 10 minutes'! I lived there before. The apt itself was decent (except for dried cat urine in the carpets...office never took care of it but at that point, I was too frustrated with them to pursue it). The staff was slow back then too. Had to wait forever to get a package, would find the office locked in the middle of the day, only to discover the 4 of them were taking a smoking break together in the back. No work ethic at this place.

I will be moving in Jan.2/08 and I really hope the Apartment is clean and specially the carpet,after all the review, People don't seems to very happy at Cheswyck. Well we see, the office people here where I live now, are real nice and understanding and I hope the same is in Cheswyck.

I personally believe that over 90% of the residents are very satisfied and have no reason to post anything derogatory. I am sure you will be very happy with Cheswyck as your new home.

The review describes very well my experience. The place is OK as long as you do not mind dealing with amateur staff whose attitude is terrible, sometimes rude and often lazy. Calls are almost never answered and voice messages never get a response. Read the contract very carefully with your lawyer before signing because the information the staff provided me was not the same as in the contract. After all they will try to take as much money from your deposit as you allow them. Cheap for the location but even so not worth - Not professionally managed
