Dont do it! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/6/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I came across this website and was very surprised to see such high remarks for this complex. As a resident of courtney oaks for 1.5 years, I can honestly say that I would not recommend this complex. For the money you pay here in rent, you can live in much more desirable places. Parking after 7pm on any given day is non-existent. The trash compactor is constantly broken, so not only are you dealing with the stench, and overflow of trash, but you're also dealing with insects whenever you take your garbage out. The appearance of security gates are more of a deterrant as opposed to functional pieces of equipment. The indoor fitness and basketball court are what attracted me to this place, but after living here, I soon realized that I'll be competing with local teens for use of the basketball court. The complex is located across the street from the police academy so you constantly here gun shots from the range. The one positive thing I can say about this complex is that the apartments are nice and roomy. My suggestion is to visit this complex after 7pm before you decide to live here.
