Courtney Oaks used to be really nice but it is really losing it's appeal fast. The area is declining. Crime is increasing and it seems like the quality of residents moving in are also declining. My lease is up in January and I will not be renewing.

Isn't EVERY neighborhood in Charlotte declining?
I consider Charlotte basically just about a slum anymore, and am REALLY not looking forward to having to move there, alas my job requires me to.
I just don't know if that's really a consideration in regards to renting in Charlotte,
crime basically is rampant in your city wherever you move to.
