Literally Falling Apart

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
The management let the roofing go to pieces to the point where it flooded the apartment above us and consequently came through into our apartment. We walked in to water running down the walls, out of the air vents, and a bowed ceiling dripping with water ready to explode at any moment. Management did nothing to fix the problem, and we had to deal with mildew and everything else that comes along with wet belongings. This is when we decided we had had enough!
When we moved in, the place was relatively nice. Then, we had several incidents where neighbors had the music so loud that it actually shook pictures on the wall, couples who would have sex in the swimming pool area and on their decks for EVERYONE to see (hello, children!!!), and lots of drug traffic. Also, people would drive through the parking lot like maniacs. Management once again did nothing about this except to tell us that it was our responisiblity to call the police when stuff like this happened, especially since most of it was "after hours" for management.
Everything here just seemed to fall apart. It is definitely not worth wasting your money on. There are much better places in the University area for the same price. The management should just suck it up and turn the whole property into student housing.
