Comfortable living at a modest price

I don't know about the experiences some of the drama queens on this site claim to have underwent, but I assure you this is a descent place for the price and strategic location off Independence and Monroe. I have walked around the complex many times late at night and never had any worries. Security patrols around after dark anyways. I wouldn't recommend walking too far off the complex because yes some parts of the area are not the best, but then again some parts are upscale like the 500K homes down the street. The apartments are nice, but you get what you pay for. Washer/dryer/dishwasher/microwave very convenient and bathrooms, closets, bedrooms all freshly painted, carpeted, and modern. However, the walls are thin and yes you will hear the neighbors TV from time to time, but hey that's apartment living too. I have never once had any concern over my car getting broke into or anyone breaking into my apartment. I have a roommate who forgets his house keys from time to time and leaves the apartment unlocked for the entire day. No breakins, and no worries either. Sure some parts are ghetto and it's not all roses and daisys, but if you want that then you can pay 2,500 a month for a nice apartment in Myers Park or Dilworth.
