Don't let the gates fool you ... this place has had growing safety problems recently. Evidently, one of the residents was held up and robbed in her apartment.

The management has tried to do some things. They posted signs telling people to be careful and to keep an eye out for supicious activity, and they held a community watch meeting.

But, that being said, they aren't willing to spend extra money to make the complex safer. Cars can easily follow other cars into the complex (I rarely have to buzz in friends through.), and once inside the security for the individual apartments is pretty shoddy. None of the apartments I've been in has a deadbolt lock.

Hopefully, things will get better.
