Moved from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte. It's close to the city, 20 or so minutes from anything you need. People do complain about the noise, but what do you expect. 3 level buildings with some college kids around. There's going to be noise, I just ask to quiet it down a little and they usually do. The staff is nice and cute. I've had no problem with maintenance, fixed with a day or two and done right. Parking is difficult in the spring and fall, but you don't have to hike. The pools are kept up fine and both clubhouses are really nice. All in all it's better than most. People will complain, but I wanted to let people know that it's a great community for anyone (maybe not if your retired)..
