DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT RENT HERE

My roommate and I have lived here for 3 months and already we wish that we had never moved in. We have had a number of issues which I will try and sum up here. I typically would never take the time to write this long of a review but I do want anyone else to have the same nightmarish experience we are having.
First, if you are younger, the management is overly strict about the pool. I was out by the pool when music was being played at a moderate level and the building manager very rudely came out and insisted the that the music be shut off. The building manager is even in the process of instating a no music by the pool policy. The two tenants playing the music even received an eviction notice which is completely absurd. Also, just last week a glass bottle was found by the pool. While glass bottles are against the rules, management completely over reacted and essentially grounded all tenants from using the pool from July 15th - July 19th. The east over ridge pool has about 200 people wasted hanging out there every weekend but heaven forbid a glass bottle gets found at the enclave pool and management feels the need to show everyone a lesson and not let any tenants use it for 5 days. Basically if you are a young person hanging out at the pool here is absolutely miserable. I honestly don't even bother to have friends over to this pool anymore since any hint of a good time will get someone slapped with an eviction notice.
Second, the building looks much nicer then it really is. In my three months living here our air conditioner has went out, our dishwasher has broke and our washing machine has broke. The walls here are also basically paper then. The people living above us are girls that can't weigh more then 130 lbs and any time the walk around it sounds like elephants are stampeding. I feel sorry for the people living below me. I cant imagine what it sounds like when my 210 pound self starts walking around the apartment. Any time our next door neighbors have an argument I practically feel like I am in the room.
The biggest issue I have is with the management. They are rude and unless the problem involves moderately played music by the pool or a glass bottle found by the pool the act like there hands are tied and can not help out at all. I have complained multiple times about one of the entrance doors not working and they have made no effort to fix and acted like i was the one miss-swiping my card. Your probably right enclave management, after 24 years I still do not know how to operate a door with key swipe on it. Also, my pass to get into the gated parking area did stoped work causing me to have to park it the guest parking (which is ungated). While One night in ungated guest parking is no big deal to me, I went to the building manager for four straight to get a new pass and each time was issued a pass that did not work causing me to continue to have to park in guest parking. On the fourth night my car was finally broken into. Once again the enclave management took no responsibility for giving me parking censors that did not work, and i now don't feel comfortable having my guests park in that parking garage. The Enclave actually have hired a safety manager whose job is to monitor music at the pool and noise levels past 10 pm on the weekends but hiring a security to deal with car break ins (which have been a huge problem here) I guess they see as no big deal. That makes perfect sense.
Please do yourself a favor and do not live hear. You can find a much better to live uptown for the money you pay to live hear and will not be treated like a child by the staff.
