I resided at Harris Hill for nine months and hated every minute of it. First off they do not tell residents that checks are not acepted after the third of each month even though rent is due by the fifth. Then they charge residents a $200 fee if the rent is received after the fifth of each month claiming it is a court fee. But the truth is it is illegal to file court papers on residents until the 30th day after the intial due date. The courts only charge $80 for complex to file papers on a resident. When I was sent a notice to pay $200 becasue I paid my rent on the fourth which was a Saturday, the fifth was a Sunday and sixth was a holiday, I called the courts myself to find out the real deal. It is not my decision of what days holidays fall on. Needless to say once I provided my findings to the property manager her face was frozen. When I asked her what they did with the previous collectiosn of $200 from other residents she simply stated, "I just started working here last month I am just folloewing procedure, I am from Colorado"! HA! If anyone does move over there be sure to keep a copy of everything and do not beleive everything they tell you.
