We have lived here for seven long, hard months and cannot wait to get out of this place! We're contemplating calling the health dept. next week due to unsolved roach and grasshopper infestations. We've reported them many times, only to have an exterminator try 3 things that only made the problem worse. Today I looked over at my sleeping newborn and saw a huge roach crawling next to his face -- I can't handle this anymore!

In addition, we dd not have a working dishwasher for the first four months, and it took countless calls and visits to the office before we got a working one. Even this machine has ongoing problems, and isn't installed sitting flat on the floor. Our refrigerator has a continual leak (since moving in), and twice it has totally stopped working, costing us money when all the food went bad.

We asked specifically for an apt with a washer/dryer, and were told there were none available. They told us there would be a washer/dryer hook-up in the laundry area, and said we could rent machines. After we moved in and began arrangements to buy our own machines, we discovered that there is no hook-up anywhere. We're using their laundry room, and have lost quarters every time. Now we ask for the lost quarters back, and have gotten some after many requests.

We've only gotten maintenance service after calling several times in a row to demand it -- otherwise they promise results and never send anyone out.

So, all in all, we hate this terrible place. Stay away -- don't make the mistake of moving here!

I forgot to add the part about the roaches to my review. I suppose since it's winter time still, they've been dormant, and it made me forget. Since there is a canal right behind a main run of these apartments, there are huge "waterbugs," basically a nicer name for roach. You will catch these nasty things crawling up your walls, and across your floors at any unexpected time.
