Not good for families

I have lived here for almost a year and am currently looking for places to move. These apartments are old and have several problems. The water was cut off more than once because the old pipes burst. The "pond" in my backyard that they said would be fixed so that the water would flow back into it is still dry. My air conditioner was leaking and it took them several days to respond the first time and then took 3 visits before it was fixed. The most troubling thing that has happened was that they allowed a man to move in nearby that had 3 pit bulls. This same man attracted several undesirable looking characters and was arrested twice and shot a gun off in the parking lot before they kicked him out. From what other residents told me the neighborhood used to be nice, but has gone considerably downhill. It is sad that I worry about my children playing outside. The location and price are great, but the neighborhood is not.
