I would like to warn off any potential renters. My fiancee and I came here in August of 07 and were lulled into a false sense of security. The front office is a disguise. Yes it looks nice, but nice stops there. Our first clue that something might be wrong is when the nice lady who was in charge of our lease was Murdered by her disgruntled ex in the complex and we almost wound up on the street because no one knew where she'd put our lease papers. The next was when our neighbors that resided below us found a leak in their closet. The fumes made both of them very ill. The apartment investigated the issue for a week, and patched the wet wall over. It continued to leak noxious fumes and liquid. When we opened the wall we discovered hidden sewage. After that they had their car stolen from where it was parked right in front of our apartment windows. They broke lease and left. We have had many things in the apartment stop working. The kitchen pipes leaked. The garbage disposal was improperly installed. The shower makes high pitched screetching noises when turned on. Hot water does not last long. And the dish washer and washing machine makes the kitchen sink over flow. We have heard gun fire at odd hours of the night. Our mail has been stolen. The police set up an ambush at our door and wanted to know if we were harboring armed teens. We hear shouting late at night. The air smells rancid with duck poop and green sludge of the water resting behind the complex. Oh and by the way if you have dogs and love them' Hope and pray they don't lick grass or duck poop they will get very sick. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!! Your putting yourself at risk. The office has no problem lying to you. They want your money and your rent will increase over the lease. Your saftey and peace of mind be damned. We are moving out early just to be rid of this hellish place.

are you kidding me? the office staff lies on this thing posting false reviews! you ask them anything about the crime here and they deny it. they wont give out notices about any crime to let us be aware of certain instances that they KNOW about.

you can get police reports from www.cmpd.org just enter the address of the office and the apartment complex is pretty big so you can do crime search within a mile or half mile and I assure it will make you sick to your stomach. We hired an attorney to write a demand letter so we could get out of our lease because of the crime and lack of cleanliness and maintenance and Heatherwood failed to respond by the date given (mind you it was 2 weeks later) so we left and they couldn't do a DAMN thing about it.
