With the recent car break-ins and stolen car, as well as the stabbing earlier in the year, Highland Mill seems to be going downhill quickly. All was well when the previous manager was here, or at least seemed to be on a residents perspective. The office is completely understaffed. There is nothing better than walking in the leasing office door to a temp that is somewhat rude on a daily basis. The maintenance "team", consisting of one man for over 200 units, is absurd. Erin and Danny are great, but what is the purpose of having two great people, when they cannot possibly keep up with two properties by themselves' I have recommended Highland Mills previously to friends, but will not in the future. I completely agree. With the recent shooting our apartment parking lot (due to the nightclub that is part of the apartment complex), as well as the constantly noisy parties that take place here as well, the livability of this apartment is ZERO. Oh, and one other issue? They do not do background checks on potential tenants, which allows some very undesirable people living here. Never have I lived in a complex that was so poorly run!
