I lived here with a roommate for a year and everything seemed alright until we went to move out. We we're both relocating and didn't renew the lease. I left 3 weeks before she did and turned my keys in at that time. My room was clean, blinds were not broken and kitchen was pretty empty. About 3 months later I get a collection notice from them charging me $750.00 for damages. There was nothing wrong with the apartment when we moved out. We were charged for the refridgerator not being cleaned out, blinds being broken, carpet being torn up and God only knows what else. This was after they kept the $400 deposit. I've been fighting this for the last 8 years and when it should have come off my credit, I'll be damned if they didn't refile. And not once but twice. By putting 2 different amounts down. I could only get one cleared for fraud. I have never had to deal with a company being so ruthless. Needless to say I own a home now and hope to never rent again. I definantly would never live here again, and from the sounds of things its gotten WAY worse since I left.

I can tell you a new management company took over in 2007. I don't think you can make a judgement of the current conditions on the property unless you actually live here and experience it for yourself. It's a shame your past experience from 8 years ago is still bothering you and not resolved. That would bother me as well, especially if it went against your credit. However, legally a company could not act in the malicious way you are stating they did without reaping consequences.

I have lived a The Hunt Club for 5 years and have renewed recently. I love the office staff! They are all new in the front office. I love living here it is so close to shopping and Concord Mills mall. Its a shame you are still upset after 8 years!!! If your reading this posting come visit Hunt Club and make a decision for yourself to live here.
