Average... except crime, incompetent staff, and poor policies From: caleblundy Date posted: 11/18/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I live in these apartments now, however I will be moving soon, thankfully. The price is OK, but the floor plans are small. The neighborhood seems pretty quiet, but I know of one incident where my neighbor 2 doors down was mugged at gunpoint in BROAD DAYLIGHT. Myself and another neighbor brought this up to the front office staff and they promised us they would let the residents know. This never happened. Apparently they didn't think it was necessary to let residents know their kids are not even safe during the daytime hours here. When my A/C stopped working it took 3 reports and 3 days to get it fixed... one of those days the power was also out. They came in and fixed that but didn't touch the A/C which was reason for yet another report. They knew exactly which was my unit before I told them but they "went to the wrong apartment" on their first attempt. IT WAS OVER 90 Degrees in my apartment, I had to stay with a friend. They made no attempt to make up for my inconveniences. They simply do not care about anyone here. There is barely enough parking, and if neighbors are entertaining anyone, be sure you'll be parking a good distance away. The walls are thin, the floors are thin. ALSO they WILL let/report/hire a local towing company to come take your car for expired tags, no tags, parking in a handicap. I left my car in one a night because I had a sports injury and the parking anywhere close was full. Hobbled out to find my car gone before 8am the next morning. Then they charge you $120 to get it back. I am sure they apartment gets a percentage as they have made the agreement with the towing company. BTW Get vaccinated before you go to the towing place. There are no amenities other than a pool, which never seems too clean. The on-site laundry facility-- ha! 2 washers work and the dryers take about 45 minutes. Plus they close it at 6pm -- so when exactly are working people supposed use them' I will say the apartments seem to be in good condition and not too old. Tile kitchens are done pretty nicely. The A/C definitely has a mind of its own tho... I set it on 75 and it will kick on around 70. No ceiling fans, so air stands still with only one double window on most units.
