We moved into the Lakseside apartments to make for a shorter commute to my job, and it was. There ends the good qualities.
After signing the lease, and moving in, the very first day, we realized the refrigerator was not cold. When asking the apartment manager if this could be fixed (it was a Saturday) I was asked "Do you need it fixed immediately or can it wait until Monday'" I then informed her, I handed her a check when she wanted, she needs to fix my fridge when I wanted!
In the one year we lived there, we were without water for approximately 6 days, our back balcony grew a lovely shade of green due to the moss carpeting, our AC unit sounded like a tornado (we had to turn up the tv LOUD each time it came on)water leaked from our upstairs neighbors hot water heater into our heating ducts, our tub leaked water into my downstairs neighbor's apt., 8 or 9 dudes moved in next door who often walked around half naked, threw trash all over the place, and were LOUD (complaints about this went unheeded by management, but karma kicked in, these guys moved out and stiffed the complex rent), and my neighbor informed me that her living room electrical outlets gave cool fireworks shows when you dared to plug anything into them.
Discarded sofas and appliances made for an interesting Matterhorn in the middle of the parking lot, and there were enough broken down cars in the lot to be a junkman's dream. Oh, and the drug dealers in the next building over made for good conversational topics when friends and relatives came over for dinner made in my very own claustrophobic kitchen!
Please move here if you need halfway-decent rent and want to do a case study on management and staff that really couldn't give a rats hindquarters about what you think.

things never changed when you moved out. when I moved in 2004 i had the same problems. it took 6 months to get my deposit back. they decided after I moved out that I owed them anothe months rent and took it to a collection agency; it took the regional manager to solve this problem. when i was moving out they had a whole lot of contruction going on(the outside) they never came into any of the apartments to replace anything. so when you look at the outside you are like ok and than when you walk in you are like hell no( darkbrown carpet appliances from 1970)
