We are almost up with our 15 month lease and definitely will NOT be renewing. We thought it was a great deal when we moved in, but there weren't very many people living here because it was brand new. They will let ANYONE live here! Safety is a huge issue. In our building alone there have been 3 doors kicked in and apartments robbed and one girl was brutally attacked and beaten on our stairwell. The parking lot is a free-for-all. Cars get broken into all the time. It is not a matter of IF you will get broken into, it is a matter of WHEN. The office staff does nothing to alert residents of the break ins. Just a simple community wide note would be nice so that people can keep their guard up. The apartments are shabbily constructed. You can hear everything your neighbors do. We got lucky and ended up near someone who plays loud techno music every morning from 7-8. Mallard Glen may be cheap, but splurge for more amenities and a safer environment and you'll save yourself a lot of stress and anxiety. The price was not worth living here!
