I?d move, but may be moving out of town...

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2002
so I?ve stayed here.
The management is so-so, but I?m particularly mad they wouldn?t let me get a six month lease (ten month was the lowest they would go) on my last renewal and increased my month-to-month from $50 to $80. The lack of flexibility is particularly grating because the apartment has the original carpet (4.5 years old), the interior paint needs to be refreshed and in general the apartment is getting old.
Maintenance used to be pretty good, but the last time I asked my toilet to be fixed it wasn?t. I am experiencing a slow refill rate & instead of fixing that they just lowered the ball in the tank so it would seem to fill up faster! Right, it usually takes two flushes as it is...
The exterior is only okay - landscaping is kept up, but it?s really pretty bland. They also don?t blow dirt out of the breeze-ways like other apartments have.
Access/egress the complex is a pain if you try to exit off of Hwy 51 to the left you usually can?t, especially in the am rush hour. Thanksfully, they now have access through a back route to Carmel Road.
The location otherwise is great. Three Harris Teeter?s and a Food Lion within 15 minutes, a Bi-Lo and a Harris Teeter within 10 minutes and a Winn Dixie and a Harris teeter within 5 minutes. The Carolina Place mall is 5 minutes away and the SouthPark Mall in 15 minutes away. Lots of other strip malls close by.
