I've been here since 11/2004, and have been very pleased overall. The landscaping is first-rate and the grounds are kept trash free. Management seems attentive and maintenance even more so, with competent work done quickly. I have no noise issues , but since I'm on the third floor facing the woods, it may be different for me than for others. The caliber of character of the neighbors is terrific. Very classy, upscale people seem to live here, with plenty of twentysomethings with maturity. The section of town the complex is in is very convienient to local shopping and easy exercise. The club house/fitness room/computer room are very nice. The pool area is terrific, but just like all other complexes affected by the lawyers and the insurance companies, the max depth is a pathetic 4.5 feet! Bring back deep ends! My only issues with the Marquis CV: lack of tennis courts (an odd ommission), and a severe lack of parking once the residents return home...especially if they invite visitors. Some buildings have worse parking problems than others, but mine is among the worst here. If I don't get home by 7:30, I can count on having to walk quite a bit. Other than that, I love the Marquis C.V. and would endorse it heartily.
