Nice Apartments, Terrible Residents

I looked at several area apartments and found Mission Mallard Creek to not only be the most affordable, but also the complex that had the floor plan I liked the most. I moved in a few months ago and have had no problems. I've read previous reviews, and haven't seen any drug deals, and during the leasing process all fees were expressed up front, etc. Not saying that the fees aren't excessive but I was warned up front and haven't violated any of the rules so I'm fine with it.
However, the pool just opened Memorial Day weekend. This is my first pool season at this complex. There were a ton of kids at the pool and hardly any parents. Now this complex does have a lot kids but I wonder how many of them at the pool today were residents. Not to mention the language they used. There were children of all ages, but that didn't stop the "locals" from splashing everyone pool side without regard. I realize if you go to the pool area you could get wet, but when they deliberatly jump directly in front of you to splash you, it's a bit obvious. I even saw them drench a little baby who's mom had her in a small raft off to the side. Sure the apologized I and I don't belive he did it on purpose but when he was soon laughing about it with his friends.
Now for the good part. The vocabulary of the kids was heavily centered around calling each other the "N" word (I must admitt, I heard a few of the parents..or neighborhood babysitters using the word too), but they also referred to each other as B_ithches. Oh, and a few even allowed their pants to hang well below their rear-end (yes they had boxers or something else under their shorts but why even wear shorts').
I'm sure this sounds like a racist rant but I can tell you that I'm also a minority and I understand what it is like to be discriminated against. Yes all of the children were of the same race but I would be offended if they were Mexican kids and acting the same way.
It's too bad that complex so big on charging fees for minor things is neglecting the enjoyment of a common area for all of the residents, and probably non-residents.
Since I'm already at it, this complex also has a school bus stop at it's entrance. Heaven-forbid should one of the kids be playing around in the exit of the complex while waiting for the bus. They don't care if they are in middle of the road. Honk your horn and they just look at you like as if you are supposed to wait for them to finish their fake boxing match. Now this is a community stop but I'm sure many of the complex residents are the culprits. Basically this complex lacks respect for it's residents and the office staff only care if you violate one of their money making rules.
I would highly recommend AGAINST moving to this complex if you value respect and common courtesy.
I just noticed the other questions on this form before i submit, so I might as well share everything else. The laundry facilities are terrible. You have to add money to your MAC card. If the office isn't open, you have no way of adding money to your card even though you can access the laundry room 24/7. The washers take so long to fill-up with water that by the time they do, it swishes around for 20 seconds and starts to drain the water. Not much of a wash cycle if you ask me.

I live in the apartment and have been here less than 3 months... Can you tell me why someone was murdered last Friday?? A women was murdered by her husband... not that this is good, but I feel better knowing it wasn't a break in... If you have compliants on the washing machines... your apartment should have hook ups for you to get your own...
