STAY AWAY!!!!!

This place is one of the worst apartments I've ever lived in. I completed my 11-month lease and couldn't WAIT to get out -- and of course as a final stab in my back I didn't get all of my deposit back, in spite of having had both the apartment and the rest of the place professionally cleaned before turning over the keys. There was no explanation offered as to why they withheld $200 of the $830 I had on deposit, just a reduced check. My rent was paid every month on or AHEAD of time, I left the apartment spotless (in better condition than when I moved in) and I could see no reason why they wouldn't give my money back. (Calls to the office were fruitless; the staff is constantly changing from one incompetent person to the next. Nobody could provide any answers for me, and I finally gave up.)
In addition, there were a multitude of other problems. I had ants all summer, and the rental office claimed they couldn't do anything about it, in effect telling me I would just have to live with it. There were renters who were no better than inner city slobs, tossing fast-food restaurant wrappers, beer cans and other trash around casually and constantly, and people would regularly dump everything from bags of trash to furniture to appliances around the dumpster, which then stayed there for as long as a few weeks before they were carried away. It is a pet-friendly complex (for a substantial $300 FEE, of course, which you ALSO don't get back), but there are no stations with poop-bags available, so as a result nobody picks up after their pets. There is a noise problem, especially in the summertime, when you have to put up with disgusting ear-splitting "rap" music around the pool or if you live anywhere near the pool. Residents also blast similar noise pollution from their apartments, and if you ask them to turn it down they scowl at you as if you cursed them. Simple requests to have outdoor light bulbs replaced went unanswered for weeks.
I am SO happy to be out of there, so glad in fact that I didn't even pursue the missing deposit money very strongly. I felt like the approximate $200 they "stole" from me was a just penalty to pay for the mistake of ever moving there.
STAY AWAY, and if you already made the mistake and now live there, don't plan on getting your deposit back.

if you notice... miss smile1964 is responding to everything... off course this must be someone that works at the office... some stinky and rude member of management... I would put her name on blast but I am not going to do that... you would know who she is from her stinky attitude. By the way how is your foot... I know you had some type of accident and had to use crutches...
