I have lived here at Oak Pointe Apartments for 1 1/2 yrs now. Until now I felt safe at my home. Someone broke into my apartment on with a key. The stole a radio, personal mail, and undergarmets. I reported this to the rent office and the police. The rent office refuses to believe that it is someone that works with the apartment complex. It could be anyone because no one else has a key to my apartment. Management refuses to look into the situation. I would not recommend anyone move here. Especially single women. This is not safe. Now I have to look carefully behind every door and in every closet when I come home. This is not over though. I will continue working with the police on this matter. This is not the first time this has happend to someone living at this complex. Please be very careful if you live here. I am in the process of moving now.

I know who this person is and all I can say is...there are two sides to every story. This person is also under eviction.

First off get you story right miss smile1964 and I know exactly who you are. For you info the reason for the eviction is I refused to pay the rent due to my ceiling over my bed falling due to it obsorbing so much water... they refused to fix it... that is why I would not pay rent... the break in only made things worst. So get you story right before you try to respond to something. Also what do you mean two sides to each story... the fact still remains that my underwear was stolen... there is no justifiable reason anyone would have for doing something like that... that is just a sexual assault waiting to happen. This site is designed for people to voice opinions of personal living experiences to let others know before making a decision to move here. I am not saying don't move in and I am not saying do move in. It is up to that individual... but I will say this... smile1964... you know what you can do for me... bottom line is everyone wants to live in an enviroment they feel safe in. I did not feel safe at this apartment when that happend. That was my personal experience... and once again. This happend to someone else too as I saw on this site as well.
