I've been at Oak Pointe for 1 year now, and I've had a wonderful experience. Like, any other apartment complex you will live in, there have been occasional, minor inconveniences, but none that would cause me to recommend that someone not live here. Staff at Oak Pointe were the friendliest of any other apartment complex when I began my apartment search last year. My neighbors are wonderful, and I think maintenance does a great job of attempting to keep the property clean. I am not suggesting that unfortunate situations have not happened to residents who have posted negative comments about the complex. However, we all must remember that it takes both staff AND residents to make a community a pleasant one. Instead of focusing all the blame on the management, maybe you should consider the fact that we are all humans. Some are considerate and some are not. Some will use the trashcan, and some will throw trash in the street. Some will be mindful of other people, and some will argue loudly at 2 o clock in the morning. Either way, it is management's job to correct each issue as it is addressed, but it is also our job as residents to make sure unnecessary issues such as littering and polluting don't occur.
