I hate the oak brook apartments. There have been vehicle break ins and vandalism. Parties are a constant. Select residents have on occassion been known to pursue illegal activities in plain view. The elderly and children especially are in danger living here. I was called a racist ----- when I told non-residents to stop the noise or go home in the wee hours of the morning. We have a growing hole in the ceiling that has been a weak spot that finally caved after 2 years. The noise is so bad that we make at least one complaint a week. People fly through our parking lot peeling tire blaring stereos at all hours of the night. Neighbors tailgate with underage children outside at the barbecue pitt starting around 11pm even on week nights. Trash gets thrown around the property by ignorant residents. One manager parties with the resisdents after hours that multiple apartments complain about. The air conditioners continuously produce mold. 24 hour maintnance is around 25% of the time. The pool and hot tub are so filthy that the dirt is literally baked onto the bottom and sides. The pool area swarms with large cockroaches at night. The grounds are infested and over-run with massive fire ant mounds that bite. Anyone considering the high rent here for the dump that you get is out of their mind. Go somewhere that respects you as a tenant and the money you work hard for to pay your rent. RENTER BEWARE!!!!
