My husband and I have lived here for almost a year and we love it. Although the price is a bit steep, the place seems to be very safe and secure, so to us, it is worth it. The neighborhood has a gate that runs around the entire place, and although there is no gate at the entrance, we think that this helps to curb any criminal activity. The floorplan is very large and open( we live in a two bedroom). Although some of the previous reviews seem very negative, I feel like Oakbrook is one of the best places that I have lived. When you drive around the neighborhood, people have furniture on their front portches and planters outside. To me, that shows that alot of people around here care about the appearance of thier homes and they take pride in them.
