My roommate and I made the mistake of getting an apartment at the gate entrance. For one we hear everything that goes up and down East Harris. Secondly people don't understand that during the week you dont have to come in at 2/3 in the morning blasting their music. Also for some reason people can't understand how to use the gate access codes. But I really can't blame them b/c you can barely read the screen anyway. So all of this causes a backup of traffic at the gate that is a nusiance when you have a gate card and are the back of the line. Parking is something. If you dont get home by 6PM you ---- out of luck. Those who work at Construction sites feel that they need to park 18 wheelers on the front row!!! Oh yeah dont even worry about security, in Building 8714 on the second floor, there is group of five on each side of the stairs who watch not only their car but your car as well. The staff is okay until you get ready to move out. They use other tactics to get you to stay. Also the apts are too expensive to have such a low budget workout room. I think that you can get more for your money elsewhere.
Other than that Park Commons is a okay place to live, but after living there for a year I am ready to move on to bigger and better things!
