Good experience .... at first...

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007

Me and my fiance lived in park lane a couple years ago.
At first it was pleasant and peaceful.
Until the neighbors below us moved in.
They would constantly complain about us walking.
During the day time they would bang on their sealing because they could apparently hear us walking.
We would even be sitting on the couch and they would still bang on the ceiling.
They even went to the point of coming up to our apartment and threatening to throw us off our balcony and slit our throats and call the cops on us.
Seems like very sane tenants don't you think'
They seemed to of become very good friends with Lisa in the office, and eventually got us evicted.
Even though they had two chow dogs which were a restricted breed and apparently lied to the office about the breed.
(From what Lisa had said but she did nothing about it)
Whenever we made a complaint, it was surely ignored and thrown out the window.
Noelle is a sweet heart.
She helped me with a lot of things and was always polite to me.
Not to mention my fiance is Latino, they started to evict all the Latino's in the community out of their homes.
The one's that stayed in our building were very respectful and quiet.
They minded their own business and went to work at 5am every morning.
Not a single one of them played loud music or got so drunk to where they were in the streets yelling.
When I first moved in there, I was standing on my balcony and witnessed a couple kids breaking into someones car.
I immediately called 911 and kept my eye on them.
The police soon came to arrest them and the owner was notified.
I talked to him after witnessing it.
Very nice fellow.
The gate was busted most of the time and if it wasn't people were driving through it anyways and breaking it again.
So it only stayed fixed for a day or two and broke for 2 weeks to a month.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone honestly.
Yes the apartments are beautiful and the landscaping is well taken care of.
But until the current management is gone, I don't think it'll go anywhere.

I find it very amusing that this comment would suddenly appear on this site only months after we had sent your account to collections, when in fact you moved out over 2 years ago. Even more interesting is that we have a document in your file stating that you requested to have your lease terminated, which we agreed to. We DID NOT evict you from your apartment (although after seeing the horrendous sate in which you left your apartment, we should have considered it for sure). If you want to continue to slander me, or our community regarding fair housing laws that we strictly follow, we will be happy to contact our lawyers for further prosecution. ??????Lisa Bates

We can go around in circles about this all day honestly. But I will be the better person here and back down since I'm being threatened for speaking my mind and giving my opinion's. Which is the sole purpose of this site.
There is no use in continuing defending myself because you have clearly noted you will prevent me from it. Also though, let me ask you this. Do you think it was very lawful on your behalf to display to the general public the status of a bill we have with the company you work for? From what I know that is personal information and should not be submitted without the consent of the account holder. Just something for you to think about there.

I was considering leasing an apartment at Park Lane, but after reading the post by the manager Lisa Bates I decided not to. Lisa your post it is extremely unprofessional. Your post did more damage to your company's reputation that the ex resident's post.

I live here and I am just reading all of the comments about the apartments. I agree with the last person, it was indeed unprofessional and bad business conduct to comment to a poat like that over the WORLD WIDE WEB. Somethings should be left confidential. And while I am at it..the maintnance here is not good at all because they only come out once a week! WOW!

Park Lane. More like 'Dark Stain' Because that's what grows on the windows and the walls. The structure is poorly(and I mean poorly) insulated. The place sweats badly inside, staining the walls. Its cold in my apartment, so you have to constantly keep the heat running. Park Lane is cool for a year, after that find some place else. They charging to much especially with how the economy is. Their not offering no outstanding amenities to have the rent as high as it is. The gate to the complex stays broke, yet the owner drives a bentleys, lexus and other luxury automobiles. I guess those of us who drive common vehicles don't care about the safety of our vehicles. Like I said research you can find better

My husband and I are relocating to North Carlina and are currently looking at apartments. I thought Park Lane looked really nice and a good price but when I read the reviews and saw the property manager (Lisa) actually commented on here private information about an old tennet, I really don't think I would want to live here either. That's really rude and nobody's business. Isin't that illegal anyways? Well unless LISA is fired by now I wouldn't move in here unless you want the world to know about your personal business. We will definately be crossing this complex off our list.

I think it is very questionable that it took Anonymous 2 years to post her review. That being said what Lisa did is totally unacceptable behavior from management. How did Lisa figured out Anonymous ID, did she go through all the files from 2006 - 2007 and match up the complains. When I visit the complex in 2 weeks if Lisa still there I'm walking right out.

Does anyone know if Lisa still works there?? My husband and I are also relocating to Charlotte and are needing an apartment. I have worked in customer service previously and that was VERY unprofessional of her. I would have gotten fired for that so maybe we can hope for the best! Good luck Anonymous!
