The owners have a monopoly with an off-the-wall cable/internet provider located in High Point, NC. No other service provider is allowed in the community, and the quality and quantity of the cable/internet service is extremely lacking, especially customer service.
The complex had to have been built in record time; I live in the older section, and the interior of the apartment shows severe settling and structural damages (windows and doors pulling away from the walls; severely loose floorboards; washer/dryer connections completely sealed with putty and painted over; etc). The complex used to cater more towards young professionals and college students, however, they have lowered their standards and have allowed pure 'trash' to move in.
Furthermore, the complex has a 9-10:00pm curfew for their primary ammenities (pool, hot tub, etc.) as opposed to midnight or no curfew at all. Although the management of the complex attempts to assist their residents, they are quite scatter-brained, and maintenance requests typically have to be handled with more than one visit. The only reason for me to remain at community is the location (485/29). I would suggest anyone think twice before moving to this community.
