It's what you can't see

Beautiful area, wonderful scenery and good looking people walking around. Friendly staff that try to remember your name. You are taken around and shown their best side. You get approved and you sign that lease, not that it's worth the paper it's printed on. You sleep your first night and suddenly you are awoken to the sound of a blaring horn, rumbling earth and a chugging engine. Trains so loud you'd swear they were right outside the window! Then you go outside and find out they are! The tracks are a mere 100-150 feet away on the other side of Old Concord. Imagine my suprise when I find they frequent our area very regularly.
Great amenities, if you can plan ahead of schedule, about a month in advance, you can use the movie theater they have. If you are really lucky it might even work properly.
Don't count on the staff to do much of anything if you've got a noisy neighbor though. 4-6 3am parties later we've resorted to just grinding our teeth while smiling.
Not that the neighbors have to be all that noisy. I can hear quite well how things are going next door. I even know which TV programs they like to watch, what music they listen to, and all this and I've never met them.
