First, right as we were moving, they found an "error" and our apartment was really $60 more a month than they had told us. The carpet is not the same as the model. It is some really, and I mean really cheap loop carpet. My office has nicer carpet. Trains are loud where we are- I suppose it depends on what side of the complex you are on, but we have to turn our tv up to hear the show we are watching when the trains go by- about every 20 minutes some days (and nights).

There are washers and dryers in the apts here. But, looking at the high rent rates, you sure are paying for them! And they are small, very tiny load capacity. Go to Best Buy if you really need a washer, it ends up cheaper in the long run with wash amts/ power bills and rent.

The big bathtub is nice. The computer areas are nice. The grounds are nice, but the sprinklers run a whole lot, and they run on the sidewalks too, even in icy weather.

The neighborhood is relatively safe, but there are some wild college kids here, aka, loud parties.

There is a nice lodge with pool and televisions, but you can't bring more than 2 guests there- and no they won't let you use it for any parties either. They don't tell you that until after you sign your lease, btw. Movie theater is nice, but you have to book it two months in advance usually.

Overall, this apt. wasn't so luxury after all. Staff was unhelpful. But maybe that was just my experience.
