You know it is a real shame that a beautiful apartment building complex like this one lets foolish people move in with BIG dogs that are ignored for hours every day and they bark!!!! I love dogs but I have enough sense to know that they do need walked and if left alone enough hours they do complain. The next problem is parking. When you park--don't take up 2 spaces just because you think you are special!! I love my apartment but these two complaints are making my life a living HELL!!

I find your comment labeling people with large dogs in apartments as "foolish" very unfair. Sometimes people must relocate due to job, illness, etc. Sometimes these people have homes elsewhere and must find a temporary place to stay while they find a more permanent place to live in the new area and/or sell their home. What are they supposed to do if they have pets? Give them to the shelter? Leave them on the side of the road? You would be surprised at how few options people who are relocating have when they are owners of large dogs. Also, any pet owner who works will be leaving their animal alone for hours on end. Big dogs don't bark more than little dogs, they are just louder and some dogs bark more than others..just depends on their personality. Sounds like you are just unlucky enough to live next to a barker--too bad. After owning dogs for years I also know that they bark for the hell of it even if the owners are home.
Really though it all boils down to this...if you have a problem with tenants owning large dogs, move to a complex that does not allow them. Believe me 90% of complexes in the University area have size restrictions or a no pet policy.
