agreed. A couple of the office staff are disrespectful to the residents, and display a lack of courteous, polite behavior even at the most basic level. (Elizabeth, Jessica) There attitudes are that of arrogance and they show a disdain for the residents. The very people they are supposed to be serving and the ones that are ultimately paying their salaries. They???re the management and you???re just the residents. They lie to suit their needs and I believe they practice discriminatory practices which I???m sure the federal housing authority would like to know about. I understand that the complex has been sold so I hope the new management will at least send any new employees to proper behavioral and etiquette ate classes and tell their persons that these are there customers

Yes, I agree 0. I have lived here for three years and the turn over rate for the office staff is high. Each time they higher someone new they are worse than the ones before. It is obvious that the office trash that they hire are not very professional. The amenities do not work properly and the parties suck. My advice to anyone wanted a great place to live need not apply.

I disagree with both of you. I recently moved in the community and had a wonderful experience with both Jessica and Elizabeth. I also had a couple of things that needed to be taken care of after I moved in and they were very helpful in getting them taken care for me.

The issue is the complex manager. She is a control freak from the word go, and she really has few people skills. The property management loves her though, so she isn't going anywhere. The turnover mentioned as well as tense feeling in the office- like it is sometimes a drag to help you, the tenant, is a reflection upon her. I have been told by former employees that she will tell them the tenants really aren't their main function, leasing apartments is. So not to engage in too much talk, just get us (the tenants) out of the office as soon as possible. This isn't a complex very concerned about your safety - they will tell you that your safety is your concern. We have had a huge spike in crime in the last year, and the management responded- FINALLY- by moving in 3 CMPD officers since they apparently do not want to gate the community. Good luck if your apartment is broken into. It takes an act of congress and calls to corporate to get the management to allow you to break your lease if you no longer feel safe living there. The previous owner cared more about the property and the residents than Gumenick does.
