This review was originally a complaint mostly about the cockroaches this apartment had when I moved in. After I posted it, the office staff contacted me the next morning, saying I was the ONLY person who had ever complained about such a thing, and we had the place gassed, the carpets cleaned, and more poison spread around--every complaint of mine was addressed. Since then it's been nearly a year and all I ever see are the occasional silverfish and spider, neither of which is any deal at all.

So, mainly I'd like to take this time to say that the office staff work hard to keep the residents happy, and that while these apartments are a little pricey, there are quite a few amenities, I feel safe, and the wood-burning fireplace is nice, even if I sometimes feel silly having one.

I renewed my lease when it expired.

I live in building 11116 and don't have a roach problem, nor does anyone else I have ever met in two years of living here. They clean the carpets BEFORE you move in. They program the code at the gate the day you move in, they give your mailbox # when the day you move in & the gate camera has worked everyday for the two years I have lived here - check channel 9 on your TV!

Maybe Dan brought the roaches with him. I'm a former employee of these apartments and they don't have a problem with roaches. As misterresident mentioned the gate can be viewed from your apartment when someone rings you to get in. Dan do you know hoe to change the channel on your TV? It's that easy!

I had a similar insect problem but it was with ants...and I live on the 3rd floor. It took several weeks to clear up and I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is the apt complex just letting the bug guy in my apt alone. I came home from lunch and found him snooping through my things, where it was obvious there were not any ants!!
