I moved here a week ago and from the very beginning the staff has impressed me. I moved here without a moving crew and relied on friends to help me load & unload. Needless to say, I came up very short on those same friends to help me unload. The assistant manager got the maintenance guy and a few friendly neighbors who all pitched in to help me unload without knowing me from a guy on the street. I was most grateful and consider this going *hugely* above & beyond duty. As for the 2 bedroom solarium I got, it came with newly upgraded hardwoods in the kitchen / dining area and brand new carpet. I see no signs of bugs or howling dogs. I've called in 2-3 complaints and the staff was *extremely* responsive, responding to my complaints within a day (one within the hour). So if this is the definition of bad service, I'll take it.

obviously another post by the plantation park office staff. when I lived there they had noise problems from people and pets, animal droppings everywhere, car break-ins. It was awful.

Now that was a knucklehead response. You obviously have an axe to grind with someone. But to keep this on a higher level, I'll say that I'm definitely not on the office staff and fully employed by a software engineering firm. And here are some fallacies with your response (obviously my opinion but would probably have some supporters out there): 1. If I were on the office staff, I sure wouldn't waste my time coming up with creative stories with happy endings. I'd invest my time into becoming a famous author 2. Just because that was YOUR experience, doesn't mean it was mine. In my buiding with the 2-bedroom deluxe, I have seen no signs of what you say and have neighbors above me. I don't walk in the grass so I can't comment on the animal droppings, but have seen none on the pavement walking too and from the clubhouse via my normal route. I haven't experienced a car break-in and have heard no others that I have encountered here discuss that. But I'll definitely investigate that one. 3. If you had problems, did you report them or did you just complain to yourself and come up with insightful, "intelligent" responses on this site? Yes... my response indicates I took slight offense to an unfounded assumption. A question to ask if I was a staff member would have been sufficient. As picky as I am, if any of what you say was my experience, I would have promptly got in my UHaul before unloading it and would have driven to a hotel to investigate other apt. complex opportunities. FYI, it is possible for somebody other than the apt. staff to share a good experience. I'm sure there would be very few people living here at what they charge for a unit if all those problems existed for everybody here. Hopefully you'll have a thoughtful, planned out response to this.
