I have lived in other AIMCO properties and we are very disappointed with Plum Creek.

Parking is bad, lots of cars that should be towed sitting around. The cars are not safe. Mine was damaged by kids jumping on the hood. I find hand prints and foot prints all over my car. (Heavey pollen from trees, you have to be careful where you park due to sap as well.) Lots of older kids running around playing soccer, hide n seek, in the parking area. They have no respect for the property or the cars in the lot. They will not leave and get confrontational. Not quite what I would call gangs, but getting close. They will swear at people and get aggressive.

Walls and ceilings have no soundproofing. My upstair neighbors sound like elephants stampeding overhead. Grounds are not kept up very well. Garbage in creeks, fallen branches and debris from storms not cleared away. Poor maintenance. Management is constantly changing, it seems like someone new every few months.

SAFETY: Bad, lots of break-ins. Some of them robberies. Was recently targeted by a group of robbers/thieves. We found out when a news crew approached us when we came home from work. There are strange people loitering around on foot and in cars, teenagers running rampant over complex.

Quality of neighbors overall is not good. I've been yelled at by strange neighbors in the parking lot. It's like dealing with a case of road rage in your own parking lot. Other neighbors seem very afraid. When we tried to let one neighbor know that they left their side van door wide open and they were afraid to answer the door when we knocked. Some apartments seem to have dozens of people living there.
